บทคัดย่อโครงการ The objectives of this research were: 1) to assess the potential of the Chawang district tourist attractions Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. 2) to study the demand of tourists towards the Chawang district attractions Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and 3. to propose guidelines for the development of tourist attractions in Chawang District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaires to the population and cohort used in the study for quantitative research. Including tourists traveling in the Chawang district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, amount 400 people. And in the qualitative research study, data was collected from 20 personnel by purposive sampling. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test and multiple regression analysis The research results are as follows: 1. A study on the personal information of the respondents found that 208 tourists were female and 192 males. Most of the respondents were between the ages of 21-30 years, 150 people with 37.50 percent, and married status of 275 people with 68.75 percent. Most of them graduated with a diploma / vocational certificate in the amount of 100, accounting for 25 percent. Most of them have a trade / personal business of 143 people, accounting for 35.75 percent. And most of them had monthly income between 10,001 - 15,000 baht for 253 people, 63.25 percent. 2. Behavior of tourists traveling in Chawang District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Most tourists have the number of trips between 1-2 trips with 340 people. Most of them had the objective of traveling for leisure / tourism of 335 people. Most of them find information about tourism from the Internet of 270 people. Most of them use vehicles to travel by private cars with 341 people. Most of them had a family trip of 256 people. Most of them had a one-day trip of 336 people. Most of them had travel expenses between 1,001 - 2,000 people. And it could be conclude that 213 tourists prefer to travel in natural tourist attractions followed by cultural tourism sites with 152 tourists and 35 likely to travel in the field of religious tourist attractions. 3. A study of opinions on the potential of tourist attractions in Chawang District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, the tourists who had opinions on the potential of tourist attractions in all 6 aspects including physical characteristics, quality and environment conservation, economic and social aspects, arts and culture, nature, agriculture and management. Found that the overall was at a high level. 4. A Study of Tourist demand toward Tourist Spots in Chawang District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in 4 areas: image of tourist attractions in the way of life and local culture, other facilities and services. In which the overall is at a high level. 5. The results of analysis of the relationship between tourist needs and tourist in Chawang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The results of the test can be concluded that the tourists' needs towards tourist attractions in all 4 aspects. Include the image of tourist attractions, in the way of life and local culture, other facilities and services. It is related to the potential of the Chawang district tourist attractions with 55.2% increase in the potential of tourist attractions.
